When I worked in Paris for United Press, I got to know Aline Mosby, a celebrated journalist who had been in their Moscow bureau. There, she did a soft feature about Oswald, as an American who moved to Russia. Her impression? “A total nonentity, nothing interesting about him” (paraphrasing).
